A Celebrant for End-of-Life Services

When someone you love dies, the last thing you should have to worry about is finding the right words. That's where I come in. As a trained celebrant, former English teacher, feature writer, and public speaker, I bring a rare combination of skills to one of life's most tender moments.

I work closely with families to craft a service that is personal, meaningful, and true to the person being remembered. Whether you're planning a traditional funeral or a more informal celebration of life, I'll guide you through every step — from our first conversation to the final word spoken.

Whether you're planning a traditional funeral or a more personal celebration of life, I bring the same steady, compassionate presence to every service. I hold space for grief while lifting up the life that was lived — gathering stories from family and friends, weaving them into a cohesive tribute, and delivering a ceremony that feels like a genuine reflection of the person you're honoring. I work with any faith background or none at all.

In-depth family interview to gather stories and memories
Personalized tribute, eulogy, and full ceremony script
Ceremony design — music cues, readings, order of service
Coordination with clergy, funeral directors, and other speakers
On-the-day ceremony facilitation from start to finish

Life Stories

Some stories are too important to leave untold. A Life Story is a lasting written tribute — a narrative portrait of a person's life that captures who they truly were: their voice, their values, the moments that shaped them. It can be shared at a service, printed as a keepsake, or passed down through generations.

Pre-Planning Services

Planning your own service is one of the most loving gifts you can give your family. I'll sit down with you — while there's time and clarity — to capture your story, your wishes, and the words you'd want spoken. Your family will be spared difficult decisions in their hardest hours, and your service will be exactly what you envisioned.
